Loving-kindness is a skilful way of enduring what we would not normally endure.
There’s so much good in the worst of us,
And so much bad in the best of us,
That it ill behooves the most of us
To stand and judge the rest of us.
You know, anger, we need to be angry. Anger is acute, it’s transient, and after some time it subsides. But hate is chronic. It’s a chronic disease.
